Dara, Lovelyz, And More To Make Special Performances In The 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards
The 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards is happening today!
After the announcement that the chart-topping girl group Refund Sisters,- Lee Hyori, Jessi, MAMAMOO's Hwasa, and Uhm Jung Hwa will be reuniting in the 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards, the awarding body has divulged its lineup of artists for special performances.
The awarding ceremony held yearly, SBS Entertainment Awards, is sponsored by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). The approximately 140-minute long awarding ceremony gives awards to the best entertainers in the industry. It has been part of the SBS Awards Festival since 2014, along with SBS Gayo Daejeon and SBS Drama Awards.
Last month, Lee Seung Gi was announced as part of the MC lineup for the 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards. He is joining the tandem of ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo and Shin Dong Yup for the ceremony.
Lee Seung Gi and Cha Eun Woo are both currently seen on SBS's "Master in the House." While Shin Dong Yup is presently hosting the SBS variety shows "My Ugly Duckling" and "Animal Farm."
The Exciting Line Up Of Presenters
The theme for the 2020 ceremony is "connection." This year marks the 30th anniversary of SBS's founding, and with this, legendary variety stars are said to be making surprise appearances.
Much more for the upcoming awarding ceremony's hype, artists will also be taking the stage for select performances. Performances from Jessi, Lovelyz, and the Top 6 from season two of "K-Trot in Town are expected to happen on the most-awaited date.
Special Collaborations
Furthermore, to heat-up the stage even more, collaboration performances will also be seen on the awarding. This includes Sung Si Kyung, Yoon Do Hyun, Kim Jong Kook, Jannabi, and Sandara Park. Simultaneously, teaming up for a duet dance as well are Park Jin Young and Sunmi.
On December 19, the show begins at 8:40 p.m. KST.
