GFRIEND Is The First K-pop Girl Group Invited To The Grammy Museum Mini Masterclass Interview
GFRIEND has been invited to participate in the discussion section of the U.S Grammy Museum's Mini Masterclass interview, making them the first K-pop girl group invited by the Grammy event.
On December 17, Thursday, GFRIEND sat down for an in-depth interview with Grammy Museum's Mini Masterclass led by Mark Conklin. The host, together with K-pop girl group GFRIEND has discussed certain things concerning their artistry, music co-workers, musician's influence, and career.
The interview was conducted virtually due to COVID-19 protocols, which restricts face-to-face interviews. GFRIEND first shared their standards in achieving their life goals as well as their musical inspiration and their advice for aspiring musicians of the generation.
Sowon first shared that it's essential to set your appropriate skills when achieving your goals to be ready when you step out of your comfort zone. Confidence in their craft and skills is the most important qualities and traits one must have to enter and succeed in the music industry.
When asked about the thing they loved the most being a K-pop idol and a musician themselves, member Yerin answered, it was the happiness of being able to showcase their talents with various concepts for their beloved fans.
Sharing their talent to the world is what makes the most unforgettable and happiest experience of becoming a GFRIEND member, Yerin concluded.
Moreover, GFRIEND was asked to leave a bit of advice for aspiring musicians planning to enter the music scene and market. GFRIEND's Yuju made quite a remark which would positively encourage the young aspiring artists.
"There's no use feeling overly proud for something done well or discouraged for a mistake made. Think through and analyze your shortcomings but also be aware of your strengths." - Yuju
Most importantly, GFRIEND members reminded the fans and the public that whenever you aim for something beneficial for your future and success, "Don't forget to love yourself." SinB concluded that confidence comes after your value and love yourself a lot.
