Jang Dong Yoon is currently in talks to play a role in an upcoming fantasy romance drama series, his managing label confirms.

On December 17, Thursday, Jang Dong Yoon's managing label announced that the actor is currently reviewing a casting proposal from an upcoming fantasy romance drama, 'The Fairy and the Bald Idol.' A source from Jang Dong Yoon's agency shared that Jang Dong Yoon is received an offer from the production team, but no further final decision has been made yet.

'The Fairy and the Bald Idol' is the modern version of the classic Korean folk tale 'The Fairy and the Woodcutter.' The upcoming drama project will tell the tale of a fairy who came from heaven and eventually lived on earth with a bald idol.

Moreover, SBS also released an official statement regarding the airing of the upcoming drama, "Nothing has been confirmed, but it is one of the dramas that we are considering airing."

This proposal is just one of the future projects Jang Dong Yoon will work on, if confirmed, following the ending of his drama project titled, 'Search.' The young actor will also play a role in the upcoming fantasy-action drama 'Joseon Exorcist' with actors Kam Woo Sung and Park Sung Hoon.

Further details concerning the confirmation of Jang Dong Yoon's role on 'The Fairy and the Bald Idol' has not been revealed yet by the label. Details will be put out in public once the decision is made.
