BREAKING: Bae Sung Woo Kicked Out From 'Delayed Justice' Due To DUI Incident
Bae Sung Woo is to be removed from his current drama project 'Delayed Justice' due to his DUI controversy last month.
On December 11, Friday, Soompi reported that Bae Sung Woo would be cast out from his current appearance on the drama 'Delayed Justice' in which Bae Sung Woo is playing the lead role with Kwon Sang Woo. This is after Bae Sung Woo's DUI controversy last month, which also caused his driver's license to get suspended.
Moreover, the actor did release a statement following the news through his managing label. In his statement, Bae Sung Woo pleaded guilty for his reckless actions and is willing to accept hurtful criticisms from the public.
Bae Sung Woo apologized to the public and promised to be careful more in the future to prevent incidents like this from happening again. Bae Sung Woo concluded that he would be taking time off from the limelight to reflect on his actions.
Furthermore, after responding to the public calls for Bae Sung Woo to be removed from the cast of 'Delayed Justice,' the drama's production team also released a press statement today regarding the incident and decision. Check it out below:
"After hearing the news of the leading actor's drunk driving, the production team and broadcasting station SBS discussed the best possible way to resolve the situation. As a result, Bae Sung Woo will no longer participate in the filming, and the drama's future plot is currently under discussion."
The production team added, 'Delayed Justice' will be taking three weeks off to reorganize the project's flow, hoping to resume broadcasting next year. Meanwhile, Bae Sung Woo will be excluded from all the previous episodes aired and would publish upcoming episodes without him to avoid any further issues from the public.
'Delayed Justice' production team asks for the public's understanding and their full support for the drama project's future episodes.
