Park Eun Bin Receives Casting Call For 'The Witch' Sequel Film
Park Eun Bin is currently reviewing a proposal to star in 'The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion' sequel film.
On December 10, Thursday, Soompi reported that the actress received an official casting call for the film and is now in talks to appear in the film. This was confirmed and verified by her managing label, Namoo Actors, "It is true that Park Eun Bin has received an offer to star in the film, 'The Witch 2,' and is now positively reviewing it."
The production team working on the film has not revealed any details on her possible role yet, and further updates on her possible appearance in the show are yet to be announced once Park Eun Bin's camp is settled.
'The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion' is originally a mystery action film in 2018 which story revolves around a bizarre accident that led to many people's death. The story will also unveil the truth behind a mysterious figure who will approach Ja Yoon, a high school student who lived a normal life without remembering the accident after surviving that night on her own.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Warner Bros. Korea, which was in charge of the sequel's investment and distribution, had withdrawn from the Korean film industry. This caused problems, especially in the development and production process of 'The Witch 2.'
However, NEW's content production business subsidiary STUDIO&NEW pledged to sign an equity investment contract with Park Hoo Jung's film company, indicating STUDIO&NEW as the new company that is now in charge of the film's future investment and distribution.
If Park Eun Bin accepts the role call, fans can now expect a great sequel of 'The Witch' with a great line-up of artists from the film scene.
