BTS, TXT, & SEVENTEEN To Perform At Japan's 'CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special'
It is confirmed! BTS, SEVENTEEN, and TXT will make guest appearances and perform at Japan's 'CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special' on December 21.
On December 8, Tuesday, Soompi reported that Big Hit Entertainment officially confirmed BTS and TXT's attendance and performance on the upcoming TBS's 'CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special.' As for BTS, the managing label made clear that Suga will still be unable to attend the event as he is still in the recovery process from his recent shoulder surgery.
Moreover, BTS will be performing their massive hit track 'Dynamite' while TXT is set to perform their Japanese version of 'Blue Hour' exclusively at the Christmas special. However, due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, which restricts traveling abroad and crowd gatherings, the performance will all be filmed in South Korea.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN also confirmed attendance at the Christmas special. They will perform their second Japanese mini-album opening track, '24H.'
SEVENTEEN has also been reported to join the line up of performers at Japan's year-end music show '2020 FNS Music Festival' tomorrow, December 9.
SEVENTEEN has gained momentum in Japan this year when their Japanese single 'Fallin Flower' obtained double-platinum recognition in May as it dominates Oricon charts upon official song debut. Their track '24H' from their newest Japanese mini-album successfully debuted in Japan, topping charts at a consistent spot consecutively.
Furthermore, BTS debuted their latest album, 'BE,' with tremendous success dominating local and international music charts upon official release. TXT made it to the Billboard 200 chart through their new album, 'minisode 1: Blue Hour,' which also topped Oricon's daily and weekly charts in Japan.
'CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special' will be live on air this coming December 21 at 7:00 p.m. KST.
