Stray Kids And ATEEZ To Heat-Up The Stage Of Mnet's 'Kingdom' In 2021
Mnet's Kingdom will be back in the first half of 2021. With The Boyz as the first confirmed lineup of the show, the network dropped a big spoiler revealing ATEEZ and Stray Kids as part of the cast to vie for the crown.
The ATINYs and STAYs shouts for joy as Stray Kids and ATEEZ with The Boyz heralded a showdown in Mnet's survival music show Kingdom with an intense performance.
The Heart-Stopping Performance
The rookie boy groups Stray Kids and ATEEZ, together with the Road To Kingdom winner THE BOYZ, decorated a stage with a presentation under the theme of "Triangular Fight" in the 2020 MAMA. One representative from each group got on stage and showed off their powerful moves with a crown in the center.
Furthermore, a coming soon trailer for Kingdom was released by the end of their performance, drawing keen attention from fans.
As freshly divulged by a media outlet, Stray Kids and ATEEZ recently confirmed their appearance for the show and shared that they have practiced the performance.
A New Exciting Show To Watch Out On 2021
The said show Kingdom is a boyband version of a program aired in August last year titled Queendom.
Mnet launched a program titled Road to Kingdom, a prequel of Kingdom, earlier this year. The exciting show somehow sparked a buzz within the K-pop idol fandom.
According to Allkpop, the said show is a survival program focusing on lesser-known and more up-and-coming boy groups. The final winner of Road to Kingdom, THE BOYZ, will automatically compete to take the crown.
Originally, Kingdom was meant to begin airing in the second half of this year. However, due to the unprecedented effect of COVID-19 and its related difficulties, the program's production was moved to the first half of 2021.
