KQ Entertainment's finest, ATEEZ, proves its unreachability as an all-boy K-pop ensemble with its intense global popularity.
ATEEZ soars high in Billboard this year
In a report by Bandwagon Asia, ATEEZ is in the list of chart-topping artists by the renowned music and album charts of Billboard. The boy band finishes a spot at the coveted Top Social 50 Artist of Billboard, climbing its way up to number eight this year.
With that said, 2020 is undoubtedly an unforgettable year for ATEEZ, as it is the year where they've earned a spot as one of the most successful K-pop groups.
Moreover, the tag of ATEEZ as the "global idol group" is at its peak, as the band's eighth place for this year's Top Social 50 Artist of Billboard sees a significant difference in its ranking last year. The K-pop dedicated news site disclosed that ATEEZ finished at number 30 last year, meaning the band sees a difference of 22 ranks.
ATEEZ is also one of the most sought artists in Billboard this year. The band recently sat on Billboard's Weekly Social 50 charts and numerous mentions in social media, hailing over nine million followers.
ATEEZ is on the top of Spotify's year-end list
The worldwide acclaimed music streaming platform, Spotify, has unveiled its Top K-pop artists for 2020. And with no hesitations, ATEEZ is included, waving its band's banner alongside famous K-pop groups.
Allkpop wrote that ATEEZ sits atop at 14th place, with a massive 260 million streams from 92 countries. The boy band also has more than 1 million followers on the music streaming platform.
The impressive finish of ATEEZ is contributed by its album entitled ANSWER, with a title track called TREASURE EPILOGUE: Action To Answer, released in January. The album ZERO: FEVER Part. 1 was also a significant contributor to the feat; an album dropped by ATEEZ in July.
