'Start-Up' Actor Kim Seon Ho Bags First Hosting Stint With MBC
Kim Seon Ho, hailing from the fictitious world of startup companies of Silicon Valley, takes his career higher than his current pedestal as he takes an MC stint before the year ends.
MBC will pave the way for Kim Seon Ho's hosting skills
According to K-pop dedicated news site, Soompi, a hot topic is in talks when the first 2020 MBC Music Festival host was announced. It was confirmed on December 3 (Thursday) by Xportsnews that the 34-year-old actor from Start-Up, Kim Seon Ho, is the first name told to act as host.
With that said, the year-end event by MBC shared a statement, saying, "Actor Kim Seon Ho has been chosen as an MC for the 2020 MBC Music Festival."
The matter was also reported by Naver, with remarks that said fans and critics would be paying well-attention to the actor's progress. However, against the stated "facts," Kim Seon Ho fans are much anticipating their idol's appearance at the music festival.
Kim Seon Ho made his glorious debut back in 2009 as a theatre actor but was only given a television drama role in 2017 in the Good Manager. He is currently connected with the hit and ongoing drama series of tvN titled Start-Up and the fourth season of KBS 2TV's 1 Night 2 Days.
With his roles in the said dramas, Kim Seon Ho has captured the attention of production teams and fans, as he highlights his acting skills straight to the viewers' television homes.
Kim Seon Ho joins the Refund Sisters for the upcoming year-end show
Allkpop stated that Kim Seon Ho's appointment as host for the forthcoming 2020 MBC Gayo Daejejeon marks his first time since his debut in 2009. The event will be making the New Year of K-pop fans as it takes its place on December 31.
For the time being, the Refund Sisters and the actor now turned host are the only personalities announced to grace the show. Further names will be revealed in the coming weeks, as the network's New Year tradition comes to its place.
