Refund Sisters To Attend 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards And 2020 MBC Gayo Daejejun
Refund Sisters, a Korean girl group project established from MBC's 'How Do You Play,' has been confirmed to be reuniting once more for '2020 MBC Gayo Daejejun' and '2020 MBC Entertainment Awards,' as MBC officially confirmed their attendance.
On November 26, Thursday, Soompi reported that broadcasting network MBC verified news of Refund Sisters' reunion and attendance on the upcoming '2020 MBC Entertainment Awards' and the '2020 MBC Gayo Daejejun.' Fans are looking forward to the awarding ceremony with hopes for the girl group to snatch some awards.
Refund Sisters consists of Lee Hyori, Jessi, MAMAMOO's Hwasa, and Uhm Jung Hwa. Jessi initially proposed the girl group project as she wanted to become part of a girl band with women who have a strong will for women empowerment.
Since the project girl group's official debut in the K-pop scene, they have been getting mainstream success through variety shows and their music despite the short amount of time doing promotional activities alongside each other.
Refund Sisters' appearances in various TV shows, especially on 'How Do You Play?' made viewership spike, resulting in an incredible ranking beating other variety programs featuring other artists.
With having four iconic K-pop artists from the K-pop scene, their debut track titled 'Don't Touch Me' received tremendous success.
The track soared to top spots of Melon's daily and 24Hits music chart, Genie and Bugs daily and realtime charts, Vibes daily chart, realtime charts, and weekly song charts of Flo and iChart.
Refund Sisters' debut track had a 'perfect-all-kill' last October after dominating charts upon its release. Moreover, the group's gained profit through their debut music has been donated to charity institutions.
Fans are expecting that with various recognitions Refund Sisters gained from their track 'Don't Touch Me,' they will be bringing home some awards.
The 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards will commence on December 29 KST, and the 2020 MBC Gayo Daejejun will start on December 31.
