Lee Jong Suk In Talks To Appear In 'The Witch' Sequel After Military Service
Actor Lee Jong Suk is currently in talks to make a special celebrity appearance in 'The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion's' sequel on his comeback after his discharge in December, and fans are hyped!
On November 24, Tuesday, Soompi reported that Lee Jong Suk's managing label A-MAN Project revealed through their source that Lee Jong Suk is being offered to render an appearance in 'The Witch 2.' This comes after a mutual bond of trust between the agency, Lee Jong Suk and the director of the film Park Hoon had been shown multiple times at various events.
A source from the A-MAN project added that further details would be officially announced on whether Lee Jong Suk will accept the proposal for his appearance in 'The Witch 2' or not. A thorough review of the project proposal will be done once Lee Jong Suk gets discharged from his military service this coming December.
The first sequel of 'The Witch Part 1, The Subversion' is a mystery action film launched in 2018. The story revolves around a mysterious accident that caused many people's death.
The information becomes much more intriguing as an unknown figure started to approach Ja Yoon, a senior high student, who had lived a peaceful life without recalling the night of the accident.
Lee Jong Suk previously worked with director Park Hoon Jung in his project 'V.I.'P.' The young actor was initially offered a casting proposal in 'The Witch: Part 1, The Subversion' but got scrapped due to the abrupt withdrawal of the company from the Korean film industry.
Despite Warner Bros. Korea being accused and charged for investment and distribution of 'The Witch 2.' NEW's business subsidiary STUDIO&NEW successfully agreed and signed an equity investment contract with 'The Witch 2' director for the project to push through.
Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk is currently serving his time as a public service worker since March 2019 and is expected to be relieved from his service this coming December.
