2020 KBS Song Festival Reveals Details For The Upcoming Event: 'No Audience For This Year'

The event's trusted source publicized the initial details for the upcoming 2020 KBS Song Festival. With Soompi's report, the annual year-end music show opted to hail no audience for this year's event.
"2020 KBS Song Festival will be held on December 18. Due to COVID-19, it will take place without an audience this year," a credible source revealed to Newsen. The statement was shared on November 12 (Thursday).
Furthermore, with the event date's reveal, fans are definitely excited and cannot wait for the event to take place. And as per Kpopstarz, the 2020 KBS Song Festival might air the event worldwide via online streaming platforms, considering it does not allow any audiences.
For the time being, the performers and the sole venue is still on the wraps. But fans are eager to witness their beloved K-pop idols on the stage.
Last year's spectacular show
The KBS Song Festival is facilitated by the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), and it always takes its place in the last month of the year. The renowned event stage was already graced by various K-pop artists in the past, making it one of the highly-awaited music festivals in the Korean music industry.
Last year's show occurred at Ilsan's Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), with performances by SEVENTEEN, Red Velvet, GOT7, TWICE, ITZY, BTS, and many more.
