BTS and Stray Kids both recently received awards for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards!

The annual MTV Europe Music Awards was held on November 8, 2020, local time and broadcasted to numerous cities. Stray Kids earned the award for the 'Best Korean Act,' announced during the event, winning over other South Korean acts like VICTON, ASTRO, KARD, and EVERGLOW.

On the other hand, the K-pop boy group BTS received a total of four awards after being chosen as one of the nominees at this year's MTV in five categories.

Previously, in 2018, BTS received two awards at MTV Europe Music Awards. These are the 'Best Group' and 'Biggest Fans' awards. In 2019, they earned three achievements, the 'Best Group,' 'Biggest Fans,' and 'Best Live.'

BTS's award list for MTV EMA's is successive, while the very first time of Stray Kids to earn an award from the ceremony.

However, the two K-pop boy groups accomplished several awards in the year's previous months.

During the 2020 Gaon Music Chart Awards, Stray Kids attained the 'World Rookie of the Year' and BTS earned three awards, the 'Album of the Year- 2nd quarter', 'Retail Album of the Year' for their 'Map of the Soul: Persona,' and 'Social Hot Star of the Year.'

For this year's Soribada Best K-Music Awards, Stray Kids received the 'Global Hot Trend Award,' and BTS attained the 'Bonsang Award,' 'Daesang Award,' and 'Popularity Award' for the male category.

Also, BTS achieved four more awards this year's The Fact Music Awards, such as 'Artist of the Year,' 'Daesang Award,' 'TMA Popularity Award,' and 'Listener's Choice Award.' Aside from the ones mentioned, there are still more awards that BTS won this year.

Meanwhile, BTS already began the countdown for their upcoming comeback on November 20. They revealed the concept photos for the members, and each picture shows different motifs based on the boys' styles. The new concept photo shared was of J-Hopes's. also, Big Hit Entertainment shared the concept clip for the group's new album 'BE.'

On the other hand, Stray Kids released their first studio album 'Go Live on 17 and launched the repackaged of their album called 'In Life' on September 14.
