Korean netizens had started to look for evidence and have connected events to enlighten them when TWICE's dating ban ended. This is after the dating rumors of TWICE member Chaeyoung made waves on the internet worldwide.

The smart netizens took an old clip from 2016 when TWICE member Sana and Jeongyeon appeared on MBC's Radio Star. During the interview, the two members revealed that they also had a dating ban, just like other JYP Entertainment artists.

Along with the talk, Jeongyeon also revealed the length of the dating ban, saying that they were told that at JYP Entertainment, they have a three-year dating ban.

TWICE was only a year into their careers at the time. The two said, "Until now, we have been promoting for one year. So we now only have two years left on our dating ban."

Furthermore, Sana cracks a joke during the conversation. She claimed that she found a loophole in JYP Entertainment's infamous dating ban. She joked that Park Jin Young said that they could not date for the first three years. But he never said anything about us having flings.

The netizens, taken from this statement, had quickly solved the math when TWICE's dating ban ended. It was in 2015 when the JYP Entertainment girl group debuted. It can be presumed thinking about the dating ban lasting for only three years that it was in October 2018 that the girls were officially allowed to start dating.
