VICTON's Byungchan Talks About His Thoughts Regarding His Acting Debut
After being chosen as one of the main cast in the upcoming drama Live On, VICTON's Byunchan talked about his acting debut.
The VICTON member teamed-up with the 1st Look magazine for its winter-themed photo shoot. Afterward, Byungchan joined in the post-shoot interview that day.
Previously, Byungchan was revealed to be one of the artists chosen to play a role in the upcoming JTBC drama titled Live On. He is set to work with several talented K-Pop celebrities, including NU'EST's Minhyun, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo, Noh Jong Hyun, Jung Da Bin, and Yang Hye Ji.
Byungchan's Thoughts For First-Time Stint In A Lead Role
Byungchan was asked during the interview what he feels about him debuting as an actor. The idol revealed that he is looking forward and is excited to do the role.
He continued that as he read the script, he realized that he and his character is somehow similar at some points. "It was like wearing clothes, which were just the right fit. I think I have read the script at least 10 times per day to really get into character," he said.
It can be recalled that VICTON Byungchan had previously made a cameo appearance in the 2015 television show titled Sassy Go Go. Meanwhile, this appearance of his in Live On is his first leading role. Hence, it marks his acting debut.
The highly-anticipated drama Live On is a romance drama in Seo Yeon High School's broadcasting club. Byunchan will take the role of a student named Kim Yoo Shin, a beagle-like, clever guy.
Opposite him is Jung Da Bin playing the role of Baek Ho Rang. She is a social media influencer and a school celebrity who joins the said club for doubtful reasons.
ALICEs' Role To Byungchan These Days
Furthermore, during the talks with the magazine, Byungchan also mentioned what gives him happiness. He said that it is the VICTON's fans, ALICE. He said that they always give him great energy. "Thinking of them makes me happy," he expressed.
Talking about the fan meeting of VICTON on November 8, the new actor promised that the boy group would perform never-seen-before sides of the members. Finally, the scheduled premiere of Live On is on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
