The TWICE member, Chaeyoung, was embroiled on Thursday, November 5, 2020, in dating rumors. This is after the eagle-eyed netizens shared an alleged proof of the idol dating a tattoo artist.

And now, finally, JYP Entertainment has given a short statement regarding the rumors.

On November 6, regarding the rumored relationship, the XportsNews said they have no stance on it and neither confirm nor deny the rumors or right.

"We don't have an official stance regarding the dating rumors of Chaeyoung," the company said.

Chaeyoung Caught In The Act

The dating rumors of Chaeyoung somehow embroiled her with netizens claiming she is dating famous tattoo artist Chim Hwasa. According to the netizen, the real name of the 30-year old guy is Jung Sung Hyun. Meanwhile, Chaeyoung is 22-years-old by Korean reckoning and 21-years-old internationally.

The rumors arose after a netizen shared a photo regarding two people shopping at a grocery and claimed it was Chaeyoung. Even though the two's faces are not seen, people claim that the girl in question is Chaeyoung due to the hat she was wearing.

Previously, on MBC's "Radio Star," Chaeyoung showed a matching hat that TWICE used during its appearance. She revealed on the show that it was her favorite hat.

The Stalking Fans

After the rumor flooded the internet, netizens have gone sleuthing on the [now deleted] Instagram account of Chim Hwasa. What made fans talked more is due to the obscene drawings of women posted on his account. One of his illustrations appeared to be Caheyoung for having a mole on her face's left side.

Furthermore, Chim Hwasa was spotted by fans wearing an identical ring to Chaeyoung's made the people speculate that they are wearing a couple of crew. What makes the eagle eyes closer to their assumptions is the brother of Chaeyoung following the tattoo artist.

Fans questioned why the idol was able to date despite being in a top group. They also expressed that they don't like who she is dating despite claiming they don't care if she dates.

Moreover, there were also claims that the tattoo artist cursed fans who direct message him regarding his relationship with the idol.

After the fans keep messaging the tattoo artist, they received a message from him threatening that he will release footage of Chaeyoung while she is drunk. The claim said that he allegedly told people that he would leak the footage if fans and netizens continue to bother him. This could destroy the idol's reputation, as well as the reputation of her group.
