CL Performs New Single On 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook,' Reveals 2NE1 Is Up For A Reunion
The 29-year-old South Korean K-pop idol Lee Chae-rin, best known as CL from 2NE1, appeared on KBS’s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook on its October 31 (Saturday) episode.
Performance of three prominent tracks
According to Soompi, CL performed the tracks The Baddest Female, MTBD, and HWA. Undoubtedly, CL proves that she can climb her way up again to the top with her long-awaited return despite being a solo artist now.
With her return, CL made sure to come along with her double singles entitled HWA and 5 STAR. She decided to return to the K-pop spotlight as she decided to make a name of her own and release songs purposely made for her beloved fans.
Additionally, CL’s comeback is her way of stating that she loves performing on stage. It also showcases all of her energy on her new tracks and music videos.
While performing her new track, CL did not dismay all of her fans as she gave out a total performance, with notes of sophistication. While wearing eccentric apparel, the K-pop idol has captured her fans' attention and hearts and the show’s viewers.
2NE1 gears for a reunion
In between CL’s mesmerizing performances, she sat down with the host Yoo Hee Yeol as she talks about various stuff.
“Our situation and circumstances are all different at the moment, so it’s a bit difficult now, but I hope that it will be possible as well,” CL said when asked about the chance of the fans seeing 2NE1 together again. She then added that as friends, they talk about it a lot, and they look forward to the time they can make it happen.
Furthermore, to excite all the fans of 2NE1, CL performed a medley of I Am the Best and Lonely.
