The Monday-Tuesday drama of JTBC, 18 Again, draw flak with their recent episode. At the end of the latest episode, the audience was shocked by the deep and affectionate kiss scene of lead stars Kim Ha Neul and Lee Do Hyun.
During the airing of the show's 11th episode, last October 26, labeled "Losing Love," it revealed the deepening affection between Kim Ha Neul, Taking the role of Jung Da Jung, and Lee Do Hyun, who stars as Go Woo Young. The mesmerizing kiss happened after the two got carried away by their feelings.
The Kiss That Stirred The Audience
While the viewers' were touched on the scenes, many people thought the drama had gone too far. Many fans saw the unexpected kiss scene between Hong Daeyoung and Jung Dajung.
With the 17-Year-Gap of the on-screen Couple Lee Do Hyun and Kim Haneul, the viewers started to criticize the show after the unexpected scene.
Revisiting The Plot
The drama unveiled Hong Daeyoung being given a chance to go back in the past, resulting in his wife Jung Dajung being far older than him.
The on-screen couple has given a deep and affectionate kiss scene to portray their complicated love story in the drama.
But it is with great sadness that most viewers think that the said scene was not appropriate. The reasons brought up are mainly about the age gap, and the character of Lee Do Hyun's name was only a high school student.
Nonetheless, other fans have also defended the lead stars and explained that it was just a fiction drama.
They expressed that a particular scene was made to make the story more exciting and that people should not take it too seriously.
