Watch: NU’EST’s Minhyun And Jung Da Bin’s Love-Hate Relationship In ‘Live On’ Teaser
JTBC revealed a new teaser for its upcoming drama Live On!
Live On is a romance-themed drama set in the broadcasting club of Seo Yeon High School. It tells the story of two completely different characters.
Starring actress Jung Da Bin plays the character of Baek Ho Rang, a social media influencer and the school celebrity who entered a broadcasting club in school with suspicious motives. She joined the club to unveil the identity of someone who tried to expose her deep secret. Despite being popular, she only has one friend because of her personality.
On the other hand, NU'EST's Minhyun takes the role of Go Eun Taek, the broadcasting club's head, who is a perfectionist and strict leader that only demands perfection, respected by the club members.
The new teaser displays a glimpse of Go Eun Taek's and Baek Ho Rang's characters in the drama. They both do not seem to get along with each other at first as they both have the same personality; they are cold and ruthless.
In the teaser, Go Eun Taek scolded someone for coming late to the broadcasting club, and when she began to shed tears, he then snapped and asked, "Why are you crying? You do not even deserve to cry right now."
In another scene, a girl confronted Baek Ho Rang and straightforwardly told her that nobody likes her. Baek Ho Rang then responded by grabbing the girl's phone and dropping it on the floor while coolly telling her to back off.
Eventually, Go Eun Taek and Baek Ho Rang meet up and initially showed quarrelsome chemistry with their heartless personalities. And when he asked Baek Ho Rang if she would do something, she responded, "No, I am not going anywhere pathetic like that," which lead Go Eun Taek to anger. He said that he was not making fun, and she quips that she is also serious.
However, the teaser concluded with a heart-fluttering eye to eye contact scene that they both almost kissed each other and gives hints of romance in their relationship. The teaser's ending shows the viewers a clue on how their love-hate relationship would blossom.
The upcoming drama Live On sets to broadcast on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
