WATCH: Red Velvet's Yeri Makes Adorable Cameo On BLACKPINK Jennie's Instagram Live!
Yeri of Red Velvet delighted supporters and viewers by unexpectedly joining BLACKPINK's Jennie on a live broadcast!
On July 5, after BLACKPINK snatched their first music event victory for "How You Like That" at SBS "Inkigayo," she turned on her Instagram Live to chat with her supporters.
Jennie got genuinely excited when she saw that one of the many viewers who tuned in to her live broadcast was Red Velvet's Yeri!
Jennie's face lit up as she screamed, "She is Yerim [Yeri's given name]! It is Yerim! Yerimmie! Yerimmie!" she exclaimed. Jennie attempted to invite Yeri to the broadcast and told Yeri, "If you are not in a position to talk, please reject my invite."
After a few moments, shyly hiding with her hand on her cheek, Yeri entered the broadcast with a loud and awkward squeak as Jennie chuckled.
Jennie delightedly said, "This is my first attempt." Yeri greeted the audience, "You may not be able to tell who I am right now, but this is Yeri."
Yeri went on to ask Jennie, "Unnie, you can tell where I am right now, right? I bet you can." Jennie playfully replied, "I think I can tell right away. I'm going to say you're in bed," and Yeri confirmed with a laugh that she was right, as per Soompi.
Before parting, Yeri expressed some love and affection for BLACKPINK by busting out into a short version of "How You Like That."
She also proudly declared that on that day's show of "Inkigayo," she had seen Jennie wearing a new modern hanbok (traditional Korean garments).
On the same day, Yeri went on a live broadcast on her Instagram account and continued to jam to BLACKPINK's "How You Like That," proving that she genuinely roots for her friends.
