Son Ye Jin And Lee Sun Gyun To Star With Sam Worthington In Hollywood Movie
“Crash landing On You” star, Son Ye Jin and actor Lee Sun Gyun of “Parasite” confirmed to be in positive talks about teaming up with “Avatar’s” Jake Sully- Sam Worthington in a Hollywood movie!
On July 6, via Soompi, Son Ye Jin’s agency MS Team Entertainment responded to the reports that the actress of “Crash Landing on You” will star in a Hollywood movie. Though there is no confirmation yet for the acceptance, the agency said, “Son Ye Jin is in talks to consider the movie “Cross,” the outlook is favorable. Unless there will be any massive changes, she’ll be going through with it.”
Lee Sun Gyun’s agency- has also shared an ongoing talk with the actor regarding the Hollywood offer. A representative of HODU&U Entertainment said, “Lee sun Gyun has received a casting offer for the Hollywood movie ‘Cross’ and is currently reviewing it. He has not decided yet.”
According to Koreaboo, in an exclusive report from star News, the movie “Cross” will be directed by Andrew Nichol, who is known for his masterpiece science-fiction movies; “In Time,” “Gattaca,” and “The Truman Show.”
The film “Cross” has a futuristic outline where a multiracial country gets split into two. It will tell a story of people stuck between two nations, where one is penurious, and the other is prosperous.
The storyline tells a story of a woman named Vera (Son Ye Jin) who resides near the border inside the impoverished nation whose husband dies while trying to escape the rich country. Vera strives to be a single mother to her son.
Lee Sun Gyun will take the role of a charismatic leader of a defense team named “Gideon.”
“Cross” has been in works for over ten years. The director Andrew Nichol became interested in incorporating Korean elements after visiting South Korea in 2019 for inspiration as Korea is the only divided nation in the world, Koreaboo wrote.
“Cross” will start filming in March 2021 in Korea.
