Show Me the Money 9's Rapper Owen would be excluded from the show and will no longer make future appearances. This is confirmed and backed up by the broadcasting network Mnet.

The managing agency of these five artists, including Owen, released an official statement regarding the issue yesterday, October 19. The agency revealed that the artists, including Owen, pleaded guilty to marijuana usage and confirmed that last year, 2019, the artists obtained a suspension of an indictment in July 2020.
