Go Soo and Heo Jun Ho Attends First Script Reading For New Mystery Drama
OCN's upcoming mystery thriller series 'Missing: The Other Side' starring Go Soo and Heo Jun Ho held its first script reading!
'Missing: The Other Side' is a mystery fantasy drama set in a town inhabited by the souls of people who went missing when they were alive. There, a group of people will search for missing bodies and try to find out what happened to each of them, as relayed by Soompi.
Actors Go Soo, and Heo Jun Ho will also be starring with actors Ahn So Hee, Ha Joon, Seo Eun Soo, Song Geon Hee, Kang Mal Geum, Go Dong Ha, Kim Jung Eun, Moon Yoo Kang, Park Hye Jin, Ahn Dong Yeob, Lee Ki Chan, Lee Joo Myung, Lee Joo Won, Kang Kyeok Soo, Jang Sun Yool, and Ji Dae Han.
The mentioned actors were all present during the first script reading on July 1, along with the director of the upcoming drama, Min Yeon Hong and writers Ban Ki Ri and Jung So Young.
During the script reading, director Min Yeon Hong said, "I have waited for a long time to meet with the cast. I want to create a great project that will have many viewers remembering the story of 'the other side,' as the drama title says. I will work hard."
The writer of the drama, Ban Ki Ri also released a comment saying, "After seeing the actors, I wish that it was August already and that the drama would begin." (via Soompi)
Go Soo will be playing as Kim Wook, a smooth talker, and a good-looking man. He commits fraud to make sustenance. One day, he happens to appear at Duon Village, where the missing dead gather. He soon faces numerous mysteries.
Meanwhile, Heo Jun Ho will be playing as Jang Pan Seok, a mysterious figure in the story. He quietly looks for the missing people. He is the link between Duon Village and the outside world. He develops a significantly close relationship with Kim Wook as they work together to solve mysteries.
As per Koonbi, the drama's production team commented during the script reading, "The actors showed off their strong acting skills and nice chemistry from the first script reading. We will create a drama that can cool off all of the summer season warmth and create a fantastic story of a city inhabited by souls, the lives of the deceased, and the thriller's pursuit by those that reside."
"Please look forward to 'Missing: The Other Side," they added.
'Missing: The Other Side' is set to premiere on Aug 22, 2020!
