BLACKPINK Draws A Perfect All-Kill With 'How You Like That'
The four queens- Rosé, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa are raking even more records with their latest track, "How You Like That," topping all major Korean music charts in just a matter of 4 days plus achieving a number of world record titles under their group!
BLACKPINK recently released their new single, "How You Like That." The track soared its popularity in split seconds. With a powerful choreography and a fantastic backdrop, the quartet made their fans go gaga with the new track.
On July 1 at 11:30 AM KST, the track has now topped all six major domestic realtime and daily music charts, including Melon, Genie, FLO, VIBE, Bugs, and Soribada, approximately four days upon their release, according to Allkpop. "How You Like That" is now #1 on both realtime and weekly charts.
BLACKPINK is also breaking Guinness World of Records on Youtube with "How You Like That," Soompi wrote. The girl group is now holding the following five world record titles:
• Most viewed Youtube video on YouTube within 24 hours.
• Most viewed YouTube videos by a K-pop group in 24 hours.
• Most viewed YouTube music video by a K-pop group in 24 hours.
• Most viewers for a premiere of a video on YouTube.
• Most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube.
According to Soompi, the first three world record titles were previously possessed by BTS' "Boy With Luv" with a total of 74.6 million times in 24 hours.
On May, BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga's "Sour Candy" also soared on iTunes. They hit the number one spot in 64 countries, including Brazil, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Spain, and more.
The quartet's achievement with the latest track "How You Like That" seemed to prove that the success of "Sour Candy" gave BLACKPINK a career-high Billboard Hot 100 placement of No. 33 is not merely because of Lady Gaga's collab, Forbes wrote.
