BLACKPINK Hailed As The Second Most Subscribed K-pop Artist On YouTube + Reveals Tracklist For 'The Album' And More
BLACKPINK's number of subscribers on YouTube continues to rise to the top!
YG Entertainment announced on September 29 that BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel had crossed 48.8 million viewers. As the musician with the second highest followers on YouTube, this takes BLACKPINK further than DJ Marshmello. (via Koreaboo)
Justin Bieber, who reportedly reached 57.2 million subscribers, has been the only musician on YouTube with far more subscribers.
BLACKPINK exceeded Eminem in August, after the launch of "How You Like That," the party's anticipated return, which smashed many YouTube records at the time and had become the fourth highest subscribed musician.
Moreover, BLACKPINK defeated Ed Sheeran, the third-highest subscribed musician on YouTube, since their "Ice Cream" collaborative work with Selena Gomez.
With only a few days remaining before the unveiling of their first full-length record on October 2, BLACKPINK reached their latest breakthrough of becoming the second-highest followed and subscribed K-pop musician on YouTube.
