Kwon Mina Officially Departs Woori Actors + Agency Confirms
To regain her healthy mental condition, former AOA member Kwon Mina has agreed to end her contract with her current managing label, Woori Actors.
Kwon Mina eventually concluded to terminate her deal with Woori Actors after a series of meetings with them earlier this month, according to an official article from News1.
In early July, Kwon Mina managed to reach an exclusive deal with Woori Actors but eventually left the label after only three months. An official source from Woori Actors later reported the news. "Our deal with her has already ended after many cautious negotiations with Kwon Mina. For a moment, Kwon Mina intends to take a break."
After that official statement from her now-previous label, fans are at ease after learning the real reason behind it. Some think that this is for the best as she has endured a lot under the spotlight and received a handful of mental stressing words and accusations following her recent controversy with FNC Entertainment and former AOA co-members.
On September 21, Woori Actors terminated their partnership with Kwon Mina after giving her the presents her supporters sent off to the company to celebrate her birthday.
Following the publication of the update, Mina also wrote on her official Fancafe. Her latest update states her gratefulness for her fans and is worried because the fans' future gifts and letters might not reach her anymore as she departs from Woori Actors.
She concluded her post by asking for everyone's understanding and patience as she steps down from the limelight.
Kwon Mina disclosed earlier this year when the incidents of abuse she experienced throughout her tenure at AOA, revealing Jimin, including those of the other members in her previous band. Owing to the criticism she faced, Jimin finally agreed to leave AOA and withdraw from the entertainment industry.
