Here's Everything We Know About NCT's Newest Members Shotaro And Sungchan
On September 23, NCT members held a V Live broadcast to introduce the two new members for their latest project.
During the V Live broadcast, the members welcomed Shotaro and Sungchan to the stage, where the two began to introduce themselves while looking at the self-written profiles. However, there is still limited news surrounding the two new members. With that said, here is some information regarding Shotaro and Sungchan.
Their Biographies
Shotaro's full name is Osaki Shotaro and was born on November 25, 2000, making him 21 years old in Korean age and turning 20 years old this November in international age. He is the fourth-youngest member of NCT and is currently 19 years old.
Shotaro was born in Kanagawa in the Kanto Prefecture in Japan and the second Japanese NCT member other than Yuta, who debuted with NCT 127 in 2016. His favorite foods are Sushi and Dango, a mochi-like dumpling, and reveal that he also likes sweets.
Shotaro's hobbies are watching mukbangs, dancing, and playing basketball. He describes himself to possess a soft personality and that his most charming feature is his smile.
On the other hand, Sungchan was born on September 14, 2001, in Seoul, South Korea, and his real name is Jung Sungchan. The newest member of NCT has just turned 19 years old internationally this month, but he is 20 years old in Korean age.
His hobbies include exercising, playing Football, an avid video game player, watching anime, and rap making. Despite being a sports lover, Sungchan considers himself to be clumsy, and his greatest assets are his tall height, eyes, and sense of humor.
Shotaro & Sungchan's Debut
As of writing, there is still no available information, whether which group Shotara and Sungchan will be debuting. However, many believe that they could be joining the NCT Dream line-up based on their age.
But, SM Entertainment announced that they would be abolishing the "graduation" concept within NCT Dream, which has led fans to believe that the unit's line-up in already fixed and no new members will be added.
