ISAC Spin-Off Specials eSports Championship And Dog Agility Competition Confirm Air Dates
MBC has finally confirmed the air dates for the two “Idol Star Athletics Championships” spin-off shows!
As reported by Soompi, the MBC’s biannual “Idol Star Athletics Championships,” due to social distancing guidelines, cannot be held indoors.
The network will be airing two stand-alone idol competition shows over the Chuseok holidays. This includes the eSports competition “Idol eSports Athletics Championships” and the dog agility competition “Idol Woof Woof Athletics Championships.”
On October 1, the ”Idol eSports Athletics Championships” will air at 5:50 p.m. KST. Both shows will be running for 100 minutes each.
“Idol Woof Woof Athletics Championships” will air on October 2 at 5:50 p.m. The show will be featuring a fun roster of idols and their adorable dogs.
On September 17, photos were revealed from the filming of the dog agility special, which features 11 teams of idols and their pet dogs. It is reported that they have spent two months training for the event.
The cast of idols who are lined-up in the “Idol Woof Woof Athletics Championships” are GOT7’s Youngjae, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, UP10TION’s Kim Woo Seok, (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua. Also joining the contest are WJSN’s Soobin, Lovelyz’s Jisoo, Golden Child’s Bomin and Jaehyun, LOONA’s Heejin and Choerry, and soloist Yubin.
Furthermore, the “Idol eSports Athletics Championships” will be featuring two games. In the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) group are N.Flying, NCT Dream, PENTAGON, SF9, ONF, Solo Group (Ha Sung Woon, Park Ji Hoon, Kim Jae Hwan), The Boyz, Golden Child, (G)I-DLE, LOONA, GWSN, IZ*ONE, DONGKIZ, AB6IX, and CRAVITY.
Meanwhile, Lovelyz, Oh My Girl, MONSTA X, N.Flying, APRIL, WJSN, NCT, SF9, PENTAGON, ONF, Golden Child, IZ*ONE, AB6IX, Natty, and WEi, are in the Kart Rider Rush+ group.
Super Junior’s Shindong and Hong Jin Young will be hosting the “Idol eSports Athletics Championship.” In contrast, the “Idol Woof Woof Athletics Championships” is hosted by Jun Hyun Moo and Red Velvet’s Joy.
