Han So Hee And Ahn Bo Hyun To Star In Upcoming Netflix Action Drama 'Undercover'
“Undercover,” as reported by Hellokpop, will be exclusively streamed on Netflix. The drama series narrates the story of a woman joining a drug ring and becomes a mole in the police force to seek the truth behind her father’s death.
The drama cast includes Park Hee-soon, Kim Sang-ho, Jang Yull, and Lee Hak-ju.
Han So Hee takes an unlikely role which transforms from being a mistress to a woman you can’t mess. The actress sets forth to prove her grit as an actress as she steps into a genre that is usually male-dominated. Earlier this year, Han So Hee exemplary performance in the drama “The World Of The Married” drew praises.
Now, as she takes the Undercover role, she will be tackling the strong character of Yun Ji-u, who enters a criminal syndicate for her goal to avenge her father, who died under suspicious circumstances. She begins delving into the secret behind her father’s death after becoming the organization’s undercover agent in the police force.
The Cast
Ahn Bo-Hyun will be joining Han So Hee in Undercover. Recently, he has made an impression as the not-so-hateable villain in Itaewon Class. The actor will be playing the role of police detective Jeon Pil-do of the narcotics unit. He will become Ji-u’s competent, fearless and scrupulous partner in the investigation.
Park Hee Soon will be portraying as Choi Mu-jin, a bigwig in Dongcheon, the country’s leading drug cartel. He will also be taking Ji-u under his wings and turn her to an undercover agent.
Kim Sang-ho, who took a role in a popular Korean original series Kingdom will be playing as Cha Gi-ho, the chief of the narcotics unit. Before his retirement, he becomes obsessed with bringing down the Dongcheon cartel, mightily clashing with Choi Mu-jin in the process.
Furthermore, Lee Hak-Ju will be taking the role of Choi Mu-jin’s underlying Jung Tae-Ju, who earns him the rare trust of his boss with his unconditional loyalty and obedience.
Portraying as Do Gang-Jae is Jang Yull, a cartel member ousted for causing trouble. He will be adding another layer of conflict to the story as he later wields his vengeful knife against Yun Ji-u,.
The drama will be directed by Kim Jin-min, best known with the Netflix original series Extracurricular in the first half of 2020.
