NCT's Taeyong Fails To Attend 'Music Bank' Due to Health Issues
NCT's Taeyong's wiped off presence in the Music Bank Special stage allegedly due to health reasons!
Seven hours before the Music Bank Half-Year Special started on June 26, SM Entertainment released a public announcement.
"Hello.
This is an announcement for fans regarding the 2020 First Half-Year Special of KBS' Music Bank' on June 26.
Member Taeyong will not be able to perform on today's broadcast due to health reasons.
We ask for the understanding of fans who were anticipating a performance with all members, and we'll work for him to greet you again as quickly as possible.
Thank you."
The June 26 special episode of 'Music Bank' will look back on some of the most memorable comebacks from the first half of 2020.
Without Taeyong joining, NCT 127 will be appearing as eight members during the event.
Taeyong was recently involved in a scandal on exaggerated and twisted issues regarding his middle school activities and has apologized for such instances way back in his past years. But due to the continued misinformation and bullying on social media, his label SM Entertainment has already stated plans to take on legal procedures against the malicious rumors.
SM Entertainment stated, "We take strong action without lenience regarding the dissemination and expansive reproduction of related unconfirmed content and other unlawful acts such as leaving malicious comments about Taeyong and his family."
Meanwhile, NCT fans showed concerns and sent well wishes for the singer-songwriter Taeyong on social media:
"Since debut, Taeyong hasn't missed a single schedule, performed all out even on the days hes not feeling well, we have seen him perform with patches on his body. I hope he's okay and recovering from whatever it is #GetWellSoonTaeyong."
"Hope he's getting better soon #GetWellSoonTaeyong NCTzens will wait for you."
Whatever the cause of his absence is, we sincerely hope Taeyong recovers soon!
