BLACKPINK Unveils Much Awaited ‘How You Like That’ MV
Blackpink did not disappoint fans with their official music video for 'How You Like That.'
Fans once again are enthralled by the exceptional charisma of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa. Today June 26, the girl group dropped their music video for the much-awaited track.
With the alluring and magnificent backdrops, the powerful beats of the hip hop track made even amusing by a powerful choreography of the girls showing their edgier side.
Two days ago, the fever-pitched fans made waves on social media outbursting their excitement from the released 'How You Like That' teaser. And today, the craving fans waiting for the return of their idols are finally quenched.
It was already more than a year since the EP 'Kill this Love.' In favoring quality over quantity, it was worth the wait, indeed!
Time made a conversation with BLACKPINK through email before the 'How You Like That' track was released. The group responded to the question of what is the unique sound of the group.
"We want BLACKPINK not to be defined as just one sound but a group that will always be able to change and develop. This song is a more intense hip-hop song that can be expressed while maintaining BLACKPINK's original color and individually. It includes power beats and an atomic drop, so we're excited to see our fans react."
Time also talked about the scheduled performance of BLACKPINK on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and asked the girls on the role that they will be playing in bringing K-pop to the world.
The girls responded, "We think we are just fulfilling our roles as artists and continuing to be the best we can be. We want to make music for our fans and keep reaching larger audiences because music is universal."
According to Osen News, BLACKPINK will perform 'How You Like That' for the first time on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on June 26, 2020, 11:35 PM ET or June 27, 2020, 12:35 PM KST.
