Kim Ha Neul, Yoon Sang Hyun, And Lee Do Hyun Attend First Script Reading For JTBC Drama 'Eighteen Again'
The casts of the upcoming JTBC drama 'Eighteen Again' have gathered together on June 25 to hold their first-ever script reading.
The principal leads were confirmed to be Kim Ha-Neul, Yoon Sang-Hyun, and Lee Do-Hyun on February 25 this year.
Based on the American film '17 Again,' the drama tells the story of a husband on the verge of divorce who suddenly finds himself back in the prime of his life, which was 18 years ago.
Kim Ha Neul assumes the role of Jung Da Jung, a typical working mom. Jung Da Jung is a mother of 18-year-old twin siblings and is a rookie announcer who is both professional and warm-hearted.
However, completely fed up with her husband and is unable to deal with him anymore, she hands him the divorce papers.
Meanwhile, Yoon Sang-Hyun and Lee Do-Hyun will be playing the same character but with different sides.
Yoon Sang-Hyun will be playing the 37-year-old Hong Dae Young, who was dismissed from his job, divorced by his wife, and ignored by his children.
Hong Dae Young was a basketball genius who swept all the basketball tournaments in high school but looks at himself now as an ordinary jobless middle-aged man who regrets his life.
On the other hand, Lee Do Hyun will act as the Hong Dae Young, who has returned to his prime days and changed his name to Go Woo Young. He will make hearts flutter with his mature charms that contrast with his youthful appearance.
Kim Ha Neul recently starred in the romantic melodrama 'The Wind Blows' in 2019, where she earned praise for her acting skills. While Lee Do Hyun recently starred in the hit fantasy drama 'Hotel Del Luna' that shot him up to fame.
Fans have already set high expectations as they anticipate the main leads' performance on the upcoming drama.
To be directed by Ha Byeong-hoon, 'Eighteen Again' is expected to air this September 2020!
