Park Ji Hoon Reveals Anxiousness About Starring In The Drama ‘Love Revolution’
Park Ji Hoon opened up about his new drama thoughts in a recent interview and pictorial for @star1 magazine!
The idol-turned-actor is currently starring in the new drama “Love Revolution It.” Kakao M’s original drama adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name to a web drama that tells the story about love and friendship between high school students. Park Ji Hoon, who plays Gong Ju Young, a 17-year old high school student, fell in love at first sight with Wang Ja Rim (played by Lee Ruby). The drama also stars The Boyz’s Younghoon, Jung Da Eun, Ko Chan Bin, WJSN’s Dayoung, and Ahn Do Gyu.
After appearing in the period romantic comedy “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” last year, Park Ji Hoon revealed that he was excited to take on a modern role. He said that he wanted to try acting in a drama that sets in the present days.
He also added that it was easier for him to relate to the story since the characters were close to his age. He even explained that he could act a bit more comfortably since it was not long enough since he graduated from high school.
Park Ki Hoon also admitted being worried about taking on the lead role in adapting a popular webtoon to a drama for more than one reason. He recalled that after being cast in the film, he felt anxious about getting a bowl of cut and how he would pull off the role.
Furthermore, Park Ji Hoon commented about any similarities between his real-life personality and character in the drama; they could not be more different. Gong Ju Young’s character having lots of aegyo, is his famous opposite in nature and characteristics. The only thing that is exceptionally different, he guessed, is for being talkative. Park Ji Hoon, in real life, is not a chatty type of person, unlike his character, Gong Ju Young.
