Nam Joo Hyuk Tries To Save His Failing Business In New Stills For Upcoming Drama 'Start-Up'
tvN’s upcoming drama “Start-Up” unveils Nam Joo Hyuk as the main character of the story.
The story of “Start-Up) is a set of a fictional Korean version of Silicon Valley. Nam Joo Hyuk will be playing the role of Nam Do San, the founder of Samsan Tech. On the other hand, Suzy will be playing the role of Seo Dal Mi, the adventurer whose dream is to become the Korean Steve Jobs.
On September 17, the upcoming drama released a photo of Nam Joo Hyuk in his role as Nam Do San. He has messy hair and casual clothing, and it seems that he does not care much about his appearance.
Nam Do San can be seen wholly focused on working at home, and his table is messy with remains of coffee, soda, and ramen. His working table reveals that he seems to be up all night working with codes.
However, whenever Nam Do San faces other people, he becomes insecure and reserved. As a young student, he was formerly a math genius who received all the attention to becoming the youngest winner of a math olympiad; unfortunately, his life went downhill.
After he sees his failing grades for the first time, Nam Do San becomes a failed entrepreneur whose funds have been dried up without seeing any results. So as a result, Nam So Dan’s self-esteem went down and hit rock bottom.
Moreover, Nam Do San finds himself at a turning point in his life that allowed him to start dreaming again. In the released photos, Nam Joo Hyuk’s character eventually shows a new, sporty haircut and hitting the facts he made upon his mind and trying to get his life back on track.
The producers and production staff of “Start-Up” stated that the viewers would enjoy discovering new charms in Nam Joo Hyuk that were never displayed before. (Via Soompi)
