TikTok is now gearing for another online concert!
On September 25, the concert titled “TikTok Stage Voice On” will be streaming on the Tiktok app at 8 p.m. KST. All those who have the app will be able to watch it for free.
The performing artists inlined to perform in the event include AB6IX, MCND, TOO, WayV, UP10TION’s Kim Woo Seok, TVXQ, Lovelyz, and ELRIS.
Also, to give a sense of realism on the show, the “TikTok Stage Voice On” has organized a challenge-type event and a unique experience beyond the limits of online performances.
Fans on the event can use the “duet” function in the TikTok app to sing along or make a video with their favorite artists. And those videos with the hashtag #TikTokStageVoiceOn that are uploaded will be played at the concert. The experience will make it seem like the fans are actually at the concert site.
The said challenge will be running from September 16 until September 25 at 8 p.m. KST, and the singers’ videos that fans can duet with can be found on the account tiktok_stage.
Moreover, once the fans participate in the challenge, they will not only make memories with their favorite singers but also they will contribute to a donation for artists suffering from the hardships of COVID-19. TikTok will be donating three dollars per video to the Korea Artists Welfare Foundation.
Previously, Tiktok also sponsored a concert titled “TikTok Stage Live From Seoul” as a part of TikTok’s Smile project #smilewithTikTok. The show on March 25 was live-streamed globally wherein stellar artists performed and even answered some of the questions sent in by fans.
Aside from watching the artists’ stunning performances, fans were also given a chance to make donations for COVID-19 relief. The concert was able to collect 550,000 dollars towards the end of the event.
According to Hellokpop, the “TikTok Stage Live From Seoul” event was held with the intent to convey a message of hope and support to the world through music.
