SEVENTEEN Earns 450,000 Pre-Order Sales For Their Japanese '24H' EP
SVT, best known as SEVENTEEN, is still on the game of smashing records as their newly released Japanese categorized album entitled ‘24H’ achieves an intense amount of pre-orders.
On September 9, SEVENTEEN’s home management and recording label, Pledis Entertainment, revealed that said album has precisely reached the soaring 450,000 pre-order sales.
In a released statement by the agency, and as reported by Hellokpop, it says, “If you combine [the sales of] Fallin’ Flower (550,000 copies) and Heng:garae (1.34 million copies), a total of 2.3 million albums have been shipped this year alone.”
Coming after the launch of the band’s ‘Falling Flower’ album in January, ‘24H’ is hailed as SEVENTEEN’s sophomore Japanese album since the group released the ‘We Make You’ album in 2018.
‘24H’ boasts its mesmerizing contents that bring out a relaxed and chilly atmosphere to its listeners. The said album is comprised of the Japanese versions of the band’s most-famous B-side songs, including ‘24/7,’ ‘Together,’ ‘Chilli,’ and ‘Pinwheel.’
Upon its pre-release in August, the said album’s lead track of the same title also nailed the top ranks in Line Music’s real-time charts. The figures show the massive and robust impact of the band’s growing and transforming music in Japan by grabbing the whopping record in just a short period.
Furthermore, ‘24H’ dominated Japan’s Oricon daily albums chart with an approximate sale of 193,829. The fantastic feat led the band to grace their first Japanese music show appearance on September 11 at ‘Music Station.’ Aside from topping at Oricon, the album also dominated Melon’s Daily J-Pop Chart.
In South Korea, the same album’s six tracks bagged a massive score in various Korean music charts and iTunes Top Album Charts overseas.
On August 30, SEVENTEEN gifted their fans an online fan showcase called ‘CARAT LAND: 2020,’ spending their most beautiful time with their avid supporters. The fan meeting had 14 multi-view screen that allows the fans to access various shots of their idols.
