Actress Oh in Hye Found Unconscious In Her Home + Allegedly Attempted Suicide
Actress Oh In Hye was found unconscious on her own home in Incheon's western port city on Monday, September 14, 2020.
Incheon Yeonsu Police Station and Incheon Songdo Fire Station revealed around 5 AM today that actress Oh In Hye was found in cardiac arrest at her home in Songdo International Business District, Incheon. Emergency procedures such as CPR were immediately performed on the actress before being taken to a hospital nearby.
Incheon Yeonsu Police Station stated that Oh In Hye's pulse and breathing have returned to normal and have yet to regain consciousness. A police source noted that a friend of the actress had called the police station because they couldn't get in touch with her.
Sources added that Oh In Hye attempted suicide, but this is still considered a rumor and has not been confirmed. Yesterday, the actress communicated with fans, saying that she was on a date and told fans to have a happy weekend.
The police are yet to conduct an investigation and those involved in Oh In Hye's cardiac arrest. The officer added that they would have more information about the incident once the actress has regained consciousness.
South Korea's entertainment industry has been shocked by the news as it follows several celebrities' suicides in recent years, including last year's deaths of Kpop idols Sulli and Goo Hara.
Oh In Hye is an actress and debut in the movie "Sin of The Family" in 2011 and in "Red Vacance Black Wedding" in the same year. The actress followed another set of films in 2013 as she stars in "No Breathing" and "Secret Travel."
