The Hallyu star snowballed to fame across Asia with her successful series "Autumn in My Heart" in 2000 and "Full House" in 2004. The personal life of Song Hye Kyo gained notoriety in 2017 when she wed actor Song Joong-ki, and their tale of fairytale love concluded when they separated.

Since separation still holds prejudice in Korea, her fans were overly concerned that this could affect the actress's reputation, but that was not the case.

Several luxury brands even desired her to be their brand ambassador. This proved to be too high on her excellent profession and broad impact on private things.
