Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun And Go Kyung Are Teased By The Cast Of ‘Private Life’ In ‘Ask Us Anything’
JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” on the September 12 episode featured Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and Go Kyung Pyo appeared as guests.
Seohyun and Go Kyung Pyo, on the show, are promoting their new drama on JTBC, “Private Life.” The drama follows the story of con artists who use the tricks of their trade, exposing the nation’s significant “Private Life.”
During the episode, the cast began to tease the pair about their “relationship.” Lee Soo Geun said that he captured a high-class report about them dating. He continued teasing and said that he heard that the two are already living together in the Seohyeon neighborhood in the Bundang district.
Kang Ho Dong then chimed in and said that he heard that the two were already living in Pangyo. Pangyo is in Gyeonggi Province, a planned city in Seongnam. The place is also referred to as the subway station and the neighborhood of the same name.
Furthermore, Kang Ho Dong quipped when Seohyun and Go Kyung Pyo agreed and said that he thought they already decided not to talk about it, then Seohyun replied, “That’s right. That’s our private life.” But she and Go Kyung Pyo became flustered when the cast jokingly pretended that they were not going to talk about it, which suggested that their “dating rumors” were right.
Seohyun then insisted, “I’m going to talk about it! I want to talk about it, so what’s the issue?” Kim Heechul responded, “You used to be so shy,” and she replied that while filming the new drama, she become more shameless.
The confused Min Kyung Hoon asked, “Newlyweds are one thing, but why is the nickname of the two is Pangyo newlyweds?” Jokingly, Seo Jang Hoon said they must have been spotted in Pangyo. Lee Soo Geun commented that he thinks Go Kyung Pyo likes imagining that what they are saying is real. “His face looks so happy right now.”
Moreover, Seohyun explained that she didn’t know about the nickname until she saw it in the group chat being talked by the Girls’ Generation members. It turns out that it’s from an Instagram Live broadcast that she did on set. Seohyun and Go Kyung Pyo, in the video, are both dressed semi-formally, and she asks him to say hi to the camera. Go Kyung Pyo waves and says, “It’s the birthday of Joo Hyun [Seohyun’s real name]”
Seohyun then continued that fans saw the video and thought that they had the vibe of newlyweds who are living in Pangyo. “It’s become our nickname.” Seo Jang Hoon explained that here are a lot of young couples who live in Pangyo now.
