BTS Remains Undisputed On Top For Male Idol Groups’ Brand Reputation Rankings
BTS, EXO, and SEVENTEEN top this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups, as revealed by the Korean Business Research Institute.
The determination of the rankings was analyzed through the boy groups’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using the big data collected from August 11 to September 11.
Worldwide stars, BTS, remains the top among the boy groups in Korea for the 28th consecutive month, having a brand reputation index of 17,700,138. This month, the group achieved an impressive rise of 98.33 percent in their score since August.
BTS’ high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Dynamite,” “Billboard,” and “YouTube,” while the group’s highest-ranking related terms included “appear,” “comfort,” and “record.” A score of 82.20 percent positive reactions is BTS’ positivity-negativity analysis.
After making an appearance on the popular American morning show to talk about their record-breaking “Dynamite,” the group on September 10 returned to the NBC show to perform for its Citi Music Series. Aside from the latest hit track of the group “Dynamite,” BTS also performed “Anpanman,” which is their fan-favorite B-side.
According to Soompi, after BTS racked up multiple Guinness World Records with “Dynamite,” they are now preparing to continue their U.S. promotions for the single with the most anticipated performances on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” on September 16 at 8 PM, ET. The group is also gearing for its performance for this year’s iHeartRAdio Music Festival on September 18 at 9 PM, ET.
Furthermore, EXO nailed themselves on the second spot in the brand reputation ranking with an index score of 2,271,119. Last month, the group garnered a brand reputation index of 2,523,066.
Meanwhile, the boy group who recently made their 1st-Ever Appearance On Japan’s “Music Station,” SEVENTEEN, positioned itself on the third spot with a brand reputation index of 2,135,606.
Finally, taking the fourth and fifth spots for the September brand reputation rankings are NCT and SHINee.
