Park Ji Hoon Talks About Pressures On The Adaptation Of A Popular Webtoon ‘Love Revolution’
Park Ji Hoon appeared in an interview about his new web drama, “Love Revolution!”
“Love Revolution” is adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name to a web drama. The story is about love and friendship between high school students. Park Ji Hoon plays as Gong Ju Young, a 17-year old high school student who falls in love at first with Wang Ja Rim (played by Lee Ruby).
Park Ji Hoon, in an interview, asked if he ever felt pressured and if his character differs between the drama and the webtoon since the webtoon is already famous. He answered that he felt the pressure because the project he is working on already impacted people. Park Ji Hoon honestly said that by working hard to copy Ju Young of the original webtoon. But since Ju Young’s character already possessed many charms, he kiddingly added that he did not purposely try to make anything different.
When also asked about the similarities between Go Ju Young and his personality, Park Ji Hoon picked “loyalty” because, without it, he was a skeleton. Having loyalty is having confidence more than anyone else has.
Park Ji Hoon received lots of compliments for his acting ability after the recent premiere. He commented that he could try more improvisions compared to his previous works and as a modern drama. It is also fun knowing that he is filming at school with people of his age where there are too many relatable aspects.
The cast includes The Boyz’s Younghoon, WJSN’s Dayoung, Jung Da Eun, Ahn Do Gyu, and Ko Chan Bin. The set was fun every day where everybody’s energy and stamina are ever-present, and they all get along with each other.
Lastly, Park Ji Hoon left a message for himself and shared, “Don’t let go of your nerves until the very end. I hope you’re able to portray Gong Ju Young well. Good luck!”
