Lee Min Ho’s Birthday Presses Fan Club To Perform Acts Of Generosity
Lee Min Ho’s fans did it again!
Earlier this week, Lee Min Ho celebrated his birthday with lots of surprises from his fans, and in commemoration of the superstar’s 33rd birthday, DC Inside Lee Min Ho Gallery, donated an approximate of $2335 to the Holt’s Children Welfare Association.
The donation was confirmed by the association’s chairman Kim Ho Hyun and is said to be used for the “medical expenses for children of families at risk,” according to Koreaboo.
‘DC Inside Lee Min Ho Gallery’ also donated an amount of over $3400 intended to feed children waiting for adoption late last year. And since 2016, it has been revealed that the gallery has been supporting the Holt’s Welfare Association in their mission to help with emergency expenses, food supplies, sponsoring children with heart problems, and many other activities.
It has also been cited by Inquirer.net that the superstar has launched in June 2014 a fundraising platform called ‘Promiz’ that also involved Lee Min Ho’s fans. The ‘Promiz’ operated the nonprofit ‘Good Market’ which eyes profits going to charity.
And while the platform is serving its purpose, it has won the Korea Good Brand Awards. According to MYM Entertainment, the project donated about 350 million won in cash and 50 million in products to various organizations such as the Holt Children’s Services, UNICEF, and Food Bank in 2016.
These gestures only prove that the fans never settle for less in terms of putting a smile on the actor’s face.
The ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ actor recently celebrated his 33rd birthday in a room filled with boxes of gifts, bouquets of flowers, and several cakes as he has shared in his Instagram account with the caption, “Thank you, everyone. U all made today as a special day.”
“Happy Birthday #leeminho nice to know you, wish you long life, keep healthy, and be happy, luvvvv” posted a fan in twitter.
