SuperM's Kai Shares Update On His Injury
SuperM participated in KBS 2TV's Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook on September 11 to inform their supporters of what they've been up to over the last few months.
Kai shared his love for dancing and singing during the conversation with Yoo Hee Yeol, things Kai couldn't do after his previous ankle injury. Yoo Hee Yeol asked Kai concerning his ankle injury and thanked him for considering his situation for attending to the show.
When Kai started opening up on how his recent injury had affected him and fans were utterly devastated. The idol has done his utmost to convince his fans that he is doing well and soon recover.
Kai also cracked comments about his moment being on TV as he opened up concerning his injury. "When I see them act from my place, I would like to perform with the other Members. I sincerely apologize for the other members, and it's best for me to begin thinking about my time on Screen." (via Koreaboo)
Meanwhile, fans were happy to see Kai's wicked sense of humor still intact. Kai clarified the injury came when he was occupied with SuperM events and focused on his solo project. He added it isn't severe, and he'll be able to bounce back soon.
Yoo Hee Yeol expressed that SuperM members should be careful and maintain a healthy lifestyle as it is one of South Korea's treasures.
Aside from the ankle injury, when SuperM finished the last few schedules they had initially planned for their We Are The Future North American tour earlier this year, Kai sustained a minor injury.
The injury occurred in Seattle, Washington, throughout their production of "No Manners." Kai had wound up hurting one of his fingers along the journey. Even though it is unknown how it happened or how seriously it was injured, Kai's finger bled, revealing it to Mark. (via Koreaboo)
The crease between his eyebrows and the stern look on his eyes show just how much he was worried. As Kai clung his hand to the wounded finger, Mark seemed to grasp for it. Kai most probably told him that it was just slightly, and he could handle it.
It turned out afterward that it was fine, and both smiled and continued with the show. However, Kai's injury is not the only instance the incident occurred. Kai had hurt another finger throughout their presentation of the same track in Fort Worth, Texas. Kai is just one of the K-pop idols who will bring you quality performance even if he could sometimes hurt him physically by chance.
