Shin Sung Rok And Lee Se Young Connect Beyond Time In 'Kairos'
Here are the new sneak-peeks of the characters of MBC's upcoming drama "Kairos!"
The new "time-crossing fantasy thriller" "Kairos" tells about the story about the interconnected fates of Kim Seo Jin, a man who falls into distress after his daughter is kidnapped. And Han Ae Ri, n woman who is searching for her missing mother. Han Ae Ri is living precisely one month in the past, from Kim Seo Jin's perspective, but after the two miraculously communicate from their different times, both have set out on a thrilling quest to save their missing loved ones.
A Glimpse Of The Leads And Their Fate
Starring as Kim Seo Jin is Shin Sung Rok, the youngest director at his company and his colleagues' bitter envy's object. Kim Seo Jin loses everything in the blink of an eye, despite being a perfectionist who seemed to have it all when his daughter is unexpectedly kidnapped.
On the other hand, Lee Se Young will be playing the role of Han Ae Ri, who is a hard-working and devoted daughter who balances three jobs and her studies to pay for her mother's surgery. Being a warm, generous person with a heart of gold, Han Ae Ri helps her friend Im Geon Wook (played by WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon) pay for his grandmother's medication expenses.
However, Han Ae Ri, being relentless and optimistic, finds herself hitting rock bottom when her mother suddenly goes missing without warning.
The Businessman Kim Seo Jin (Shin Sung Rok)
The previous stills shared by Kairos revealed Shin Sung Rok transformed into a diligent businessman. The stills give hints of the character's cold aura, which makes it seem as if he cares nothing but work. Character Kim Seo Jin is dressed in sleek back pants and a crisp white shirt with a matching black tie. And with eyes looking sharp in concentration, his dark hair is gelled back.
Premiere Date
To find out whether Kim Seo Jin will turn back time and avert tragedy, and whether Han Ae Ri will be able to find her missing mother, watch out for the premiere of "Kairos" on October 26 at 9:30 PM, KST.
