Maroo Entertainment Confirms New Boy Group GHOST9
South Korean based private entertainment company, Maroo Entertainment, has officially confirmed the much-awaited details of their forthcoming K-pop boy group called Ghost Nine, aka GHOST9.
MEMBERS
GHOST9 is an upcoming 9-member all-boy band that consists of Shin, Hwang Dong Jun, Choi Jun Seong, Son Jun Hyun, Lee Kang Sung, and Prince.
Moreover, the roster adds former ‘Produce X 101’ contestants and ‘TEEN TEEN’ members Lee Woo Jin, Lee Jin Woo, and Lee Tae Seung.
As the agency revealed the rookie group’s first set of debut images, fans were stunned on Lee Jin Woo’s radical transformation. When Lee Jin Woo appeared on ‘Produce X 101’ as a trainee, he was known as the group’s cutie member, as he shows his charm and adorable demeanor to his older fellow contestants. With the said, he earned the nickname “Hae Nam.” But on the debut images released by Maroo Entertainment, the rookie idol shows off his rebellious side, but still resembling his “boy next door” aura.
FIRST MINI-ALBUM: ‘PRE EPISODE 1: DOOR’
In a statement by Maroo Entertainment, GHOST9 is gearing themselves out as they are set to launch their first-ever extended play entitled ‘PRE EPISODE 1: DOOR.’
According to Hellokpop, referencing the released teaser photos of the band, all nine boys share their respective powerful and majestic vibes as they confidently pose in front of the camera. Moreover, each members’ aura symbolizes their intense dedication and passion as idol rookies.
“We ask for your full anticipation and interest to GHOST9 (Ghost Nine), who will complete their debut with outstanding and universal skills,” The agency said.
LAUNCH DATE
In a recent reveal by the band, it has given prominence to their debut date’s countdown schedule coming this September.
GHOST9 will put on a big show on the K-pop music stage as they make their way to the public on September 23 with their first mini-album entitled ‘PRE EPISODE 1: DOOR.’
