STREAM: LOVELYZ Releases 7th EP 'Unforgettable'
The South Korean all-girl ensemble finally made known their long-awaited comeback album entitled ‘Unforgettable’ on September 1. The said album comes in a form an extended play, and that hails as the group’s seventh. The K-pop octet made the music atmosphere of their fans a dreamy on through their fantasy-like tracks that show a whole new level of LOVELYZ.
LOVELYZ initially teased about their comeback as a whole band through releasing an inexplicable music video. The said video clipped shows a genuine aura that is dominated by white color and elegance.
On August 18, the countdown kicked off with the release of their album’s promotion scheduled. The further teasers for the album come in the form of a video, images, and posters, showing off the girl’s charms.
‘Unforgettable’ kicks off with a short intro of the same title, sharing an enchanting new world as it excites the listeners for an adventure brought by the album’s songs.
The album’s lead single, ‘Obliviate,’ possess a rich melody and instrumental of orchestral tunes and aesthetic bass as the girls illuminate their new colors while singing the song. Member Sujeong participated in writing the songs’ words.
The third track is called ‘Dream In A Dream,’ it one of the most mesmerizing songs with meditative tunes and bass that brings a classic feeling. The song sings of a breakup where the singer longing to stay in a dream because nothing changes.
‘Never Secret’ is a sweet track that has a retro vibe on it. It gives prominence to LOVELYZ’s signature sounds and looks.
‘Memories’ is another sweet song that is sung in a mixture of retro melody and reggae. It sings of a story of how parting to someone feels and leaves a nostalgic feeling.
The last song from the album is called ‘Worry Dolls,’ which is categorized as pop-rock that contains fun0filled band sounds.
