Yoo In Na Confirmed To Star Along Shinhwa's Eric And Im Joo Hwan In New Romantic Comedy Drama
On June 22, MBC announced that Yoo In Na, Shinhwa’s Eric, and Im Joo Hwan accepted the offer to star in their upcoming drama ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ that is expected to be aired this October.
‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ is a suspenseful romantic comedy about a woman who gets entangled with two husbands who are both involved in the secret service.
Yoo In Na will be starring as Kang Ah Reum, a wedding dress designer who gets married twice, to two husbands who both harbor many secrets.
In an interview, Yoo In Na stated, “I’m delighted to be able to greet you in the role of the passionate Kang Ah Reum, who is overflowing with charm. The character has so much story to tell, and I’m looking forward to the very special romance that will be unfolding [in the drama]."
Meanwhile, Eric will be playing as the main lead, Jun Ji Hoon, who is a secret agent and Kang Ah Reum’s first husband. He is an active spy disguised as a travel writer, he reunites with his ex-wife again because of an unexpected event.
Eric also expressed his excitement during the recent interview saying, “I’m delighted to be joining this great drama. Together with my co-stars, I’ll work hard to show you great acting.”
While Im Joo Hwan acts as a corporate spy Derek Hyun. He is Kang Ah Reum’s second husband. Disguised as a diplomat, he is infinitely sweet to his wife but is unfazed when it comes to his missions.
His love for his wife is sincere but his identity can’t be revealed. With the return of his wife’s ex-husband, the perfect world he built might crumble.
The drama is already gaining the interest of the public since Yoo In Na is famous for being an expert at playing romantic comedy roles. Some of her notable acts include Touch Your Heart, Goblin and Queen and I.
