Suzy Plays A Role In A Short Film Based On Her Created Story
Suzy has recently starred in a short film, which is based on her novel!
A live broadcast was held in the Lancôme YouTube channel last September 4 for the short movie "If My Stuff Is Still at Your Place, We Haven't Broken Up" (LT). Starring in the film were actors Suzy, Nam Yoon Soo, and headed by renowned Director Kim Ji Woon.
Director Kim Ji Woon gave everyone a surprising revelation that the original piece's creator that the film based on was Suzy herself. He revealed a medium-length novel that Suzy is secretly writing, and he was given a chance to read and write the story based on the beautiful and exciting parts.
Suzy then shared that the stories she wrote during her spare time were for personal satisfaction only, but when taking on the project, she talked with the director, and he chose the story he liked. With his pitched favorite portion of her created story, the director adapted it and put it into life. Suzy expressed her gratitude towards the director that it was such an honor to recognize her work.
During an interview in the broadcast, she was asked how she would describe a "happy woman." She answered that a happy woman is someone who focuses on herself. She also added that "It is not that she does not think about others; it is that I think a happy woman is one who walks her path at her speed." For her, a "happy woman" is a woman who can walk on her own and with her capabilities.
The short film is an uplifting story about a couple who thought that they would last forever but ended into a bad breakup. It is about growth and happiness. It is also a story that will unfold how the lead character overcomes many struggles and different post-breakup emotions, which is true to many and is relatable to everyone who wanted to make a fresh start. The film aims to empower all the women by delivering a positive message through the film.
