AKMU's Suhyun is reportedly making her solo debut this year, as per a recent article by My Daily.

Before this report, YG Entertainment announced that AKMU would release new tracks three times until the end of this year. YG Entertainment also reported that now that fans had acknowledged the transition and progression of AKMU throwing their last album "SAILING" this year, everyone can expect a massive growth from the pair. And now, through My Daily, it has been announced that this fall, Suhyun would be releasing a new track as she finally makes her most-awaited solo debut.

Moreover, Suhyun's upcoming solo track has already been recorded, and the singer will be greeting her supporters as a soloist soon.

In 2013, AKMU won the SBS' K-Pop Star Season 2 and debuted in 2014 through YG Entertainment. Suhyun attracted a tremendous amount of support for her pure and clear voice during the competition, and she has recently flaunted it on JTBC's Begin Again Korea. (via Koreaboo)

AKMU's Suhyun Appointed To Perform Korean Version Of 'Mulan' Film OST 'Reflection'

'Walt Disney Korea' announced to news organizations on August 19 that Suhyun of AKMU will sing the OST for the official Korean version of "Reflection!"

Disney's new live-action movie 'Mulan' is scheduled to debut on September 10 at cinemas in Korea. Many Disney fans know the most famous 'Mulan' OST version is the female lead's solo "Reflection." (via Allkpop)

Legendary singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera will once again perform the official 2020 English version of the song for U.S. viewers and fans and accompany her as the official Korean version singer is Suhyun of AKMU. Previously, Suhyun featured numerous Disney OSTs, namely "Reflection" and "Speechless," "Into The Unknown," and more throughout JTBC's 'Begin Again Korea.'
