Here's the Starring Cast Of The Upcoming KBS Drama 'Dr. M'
The upcoming drama of KBs 2TV, "Dr. M," has revealed its starring cast!
KBS announced on September 3 that NCT's Jaehyun, Kim Sae Ron, Bae Hyun Sung, and Park Hye Soo would be making an appearance in "DR. M." The drama will a spin-off of the hit web drama series, "Love Playlist.
"Dr. M," per Soompi, is about an individual who is mentioned in an anonymous post on a Seoyeon University online community, "M." The unknown person will begin the storyline's campus-wide search. The true to life romance drama will follow the changing relationships and budding romances between various characters in the wake of all the buzz about "M."
Jaehyun, in his most-anticipated acting debut, will be playing the male lead Cha Min Ho. The character is an innovative and imaginative second-year computer-engineering student who comes up with an idea to develop an exciting new app.
Starring as Ma Joo Ah, the cheerful second-year business administration major, will be Park Hye Soo. The character never had a boyfriend and is continuously meddling in others' affairs due to her generous and inquisitive nature. Cha Min Ho and Ma Joo Ah are childhood friends who have been BFFs for the past 12 years.
Furthermore, reprising their roles from the fourth season of "Love Playlist" are Kim Sae Ron and Bae Hyun Sung. Their previous roles were the students at Seoyeon University named Seo Ji Min and Park Ha Neul. They will continue to give viewers butterflies in "Dr. M" as a beloved campus couple, but the character of Park Ha Neul will also set out to achieve his dream of becoming a game developer.
The producers of "Dr. M" shared that the new KBS drama pressed "Love Playlist" writer Lee Seul to join forces with the director of KBS's 2-part music drama "to. Jenny," Park Jin Woo," and the director of "I Hate Going To Work" and "Love Revolution," Seo Joo Wan.
"Dr. M" aims to premiere sometime in the first half of 2021.
